How we write and check our guides
Purpose
Our guides help founders and marketers make better branding decisions. They are educational and general; they are not legal, financial or professional advice for your specific situation.
Research
We prefer primary sources: official trademark office guidance, published standards (such as WCAG for accessibility), academic research and publicly posted pricing. Where evidence is limited or contested — colour psychology is a good example — we say so.
Independence
Advertisers, sponsors and partner studios do not review, edit or approve editorial content before publication. Sponsored content is always labelled. Tool outputs are generated by the same code for every visitor.
Updates
Each guide shows its last-updated date. We review high-traffic guides at least twice a year and whenever official rules change.
Corrections
If you find an error, contact us with the page and the issue. We correct factual errors promptly and note significant corrections at the end of the article.
AI and originality
We may use software tools, including AI, to help research and draft. Every published page is reviewed and edited by a person, and we do not publish content copied from other sites.
