Business name generator
Enter one to three keywords, pick naming styles and a vibe. Shortlist your favourites, then check domains and trademarks in one click.
Scores estimate memorability from length, vowel balance and letter clusters. Domain links open a registrar search; availability is confirmed there, not here. Results are suggestions only — always run trademark checks before use.
How the generator builds names
Professional naming teams work from a small set of construction patterns. The generator uses the same ones, so you can see which style suits your brand before you go deeper.
| Style | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Compound | Two real words joined (keyword + evocative word). | Clear, descriptive brands that still feel ownable. |
| Blend | Front of one word fused with the back of another. | Tech and consumer products that need a unique, short name. |
| Suffix / prefix | Keyword plus an ending like -ly, -ify, -ora or a lead-in like Neo- or Get-. | Apps and services; easy to understand. |
| Metaphor | A real word that carries the feeling you want (Summit, Lantern, Atlas). | Brands that sell an emotion more than a feature. |
| Invented | Pronounceable, coined words built from consonant–vowel patterns. | Global brands that need trademark strength. |
| Respelled | Familiar words with an altered spelling. | Getting a short .com — but watch the spelling cost. |
Filter your shortlist like a pro
- The radio test. Say it once on a call. Could the listener spell it?
- The crowd test. Search the name with your category. Are competitors close by?
- The meaning test. Check it in the languages of your key markets for unfortunate meanings.
- The legal test. Run it through the trademark search launcher in the classes you’ll trade in.
- The domain test. You don’t need the exact .com, but you need a domain people will type correctly.
