Wordmark maker
Many of the strongest logos are just a name set beautifully. Build a typographic wordmark, add a simple symbol if it earns its place, and export production-ready files.
Your first letter on your symbol colour, as it would appear in a browser tab or app icon.
The SVG references Google Fonts so it renders correctly in browsers. For print or design software, install the font or convert text to outlines. PNG exports at 3× resolution.
What makes a wordmark work
A wordmark is a logo made primarily of the brand name. It’s the fastest route to recognition for a new brand because every impression teaches people your name — not an abstract symbol they have to learn.
- Legibility first. Test at 120px wide and at favicon size. If it breaks small, simplify.
- Spacing is the craft. Tight spacing feels confident and modern; open spacing feels premium and calm. Uppercase usually needs extra tracking.
- One colour must work. Your logo will be stamped, embroidered and printed in black. Design in one colour, then add colour.
- Symbols must earn their place. A simple shape can become a favicon, app icon and social avatar. If it adds nothing, leave it out.
Files you’ll need
| File | Use |
|---|---|
| SVG | Website, presentations, scalable to any size. |
| PNG (transparent) | Documents, social media, email signatures. |
| One-colour version | Stamps, embroidery, single-colour print. |
| Square icon | Favicon, app icon, social avatars. |
A browser wordmark is a strong starting point. A professionally drawn logo with custom lettering is a different level — compare options in How much does a logo cost? or get matched with identity designers.
