This policy explains what information Brand.Studio (“we”, “us”) collects when you use brand.studio, how we use it and the choices you have.
1. Information you give us
When you submit a form — Get Matched, partner application, contest entry, newsletter, donation pledge, talent application, advertising inquiry or contact — we receive the details you enter, such as name, email, company, website and project information. Forms are delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service.
2. Tool data stays on your device
Our tools (name generator, palette builder, fonts, wordmark maker, slogan generator, archetype quiz, brand audit, brand guide builder and trademark launcher) run in your browser. Your brand kit and shortlists are stored in your browser’s local storage and are not sent to us unless you submit them in a form.
3. Advertising and Google AdSense
- We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.

- Choosing “Essential only” in our cookie notice requests non-personalised ads.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland may be shown a consent message managed through Google’s certified consent tools.
4. Other third parties
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, video thumbnails from YouTube (videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play), and are hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log IP addresses for security. Each provider has its own privacy policy.
5. How we use information
- To respond to you and deliver what you asked for (matches, reports, newsletters, payment links).
- To introduce your project brief to up to three partner studios when you request Get Matched.
- To run and improve the site, prevent abuse and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention
We keep form submissions for as long as needed for the purpose you submitted them, typically up to 24 months, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA or US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. To make a request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request”.
8. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.
